About Starship Gallery

Starship Gallery at Space Center Houston displays multiple flown spacecraft and artifacts that trace the history of human space exploration. Visitors view the Apollo 17 Command Module, Mercury 9 "Faith 7," and Gemini V spacecraft up close. The gallery features a full-size Skylab Training module and the Lunar Module LTA-8. A touchable Moon rock in the Lunar Samples Vault allows hands-on engagement with lunar material. Additional exhibits include a Lunar Rover Trainer, Launch and Entry Suit, and ejection seats from early Space Shuttle Program missions. The gallery also displays the Gene Kranz Apollo 17 Vest, a colorful handmade vest worn by the flight director during the final Apollo mission, and the John F. Kennedy Lectern. The museum is located in Houston, Texas, and tickets are sold online through the venue's website.
