Lone Star Flight Museum houses aircraft displays across the Heritage and Waltrip hangars, where visitors walk among vintage planes and learn aviation history. The Boeing Toddler Terminal engages young children with hands-on activities, while the Space Gallery explores flight's connection to space exploration. The Texas Aviation Hall of Fame honors pioneers in the state's aviation industry. Families can experience the MaxFlight Simulator for an interactive flight experience. The museum also offers Flight Academy programs and day camps during school breaks, including Thanksgiving camps. Educational workshops serve scout groups, and birthday parties can be held on-site. The LSFM Miniti Cafe provides refreshments during visits. Located at Ellington Airport in Houston, the museum opens Tuesday through Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons, with free parking available on the grounds.
