About Pearl S. Buck National Historic Landmark

Pearl S. Buck National Historic Landmark in Perkasie preserves the home and legacy of the Pulitzer and Nobel Prize-winning author and humanitarian. Visitors tour the historic stone farmhouse museum with a docent who shares Pearl S. Buck's story of advocacy for marginalized communities and her work toward social justice. The "Life & Legacy" tour offers a traditional historic house experience, while the "Taking Action" tour features interactive dialogue developed with the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience. The grounds include award-winning gardens that visitors can explore, and a Welcome Center and Gift Shop are available. A current quilt exhibit displays American quilts across generations. The arboretum hosts educational programming including family activities, nature walks, and lecture series. The site also offers special events such as ghost tours and floral design classes.
