About Icons Of Darkness

Icons of Darkness houses the world's largest private collection of screen-used special effects, props, and costumes from sci-fi, horror, fantasy, and superhero films. Visitors take guided half-hour tours led by knowledgeable docents through displays featuring Terminator endoskeletons and Arnold Schwarzenegger costumes, historic Batsuits from Michael Keaton to Christian Bale, original Star Wars helmets and costumes, Harry Potter props, Alien suits from 1979 onward, Jurassic Park T-Rex heads and raptor stunt suits, horror film pieces from Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th, Spider-Man and Wolverine costumes, and sci-fi artifacts from Predator, Back to the Future, and Men in Black. The exhibit includes automated jump scares with loud noises that may startle younger children. Tours accommodate all ages, though children five and under need no ticket. The museum sits on Hollywood Boulevard at Hollywood & Highland Mall in Los Angeles. Military personnel with current ID receive discounted admission at $25, down from the standard $30 adult price, according to iconsofdarkness.com.
