About GP81
GP81 is an indoor climbing gym in Brooklyn where visitors climb on bouldering walls with colorful holds and train on specialized fitness equipment. The gym features unlimited bouldering with new wall sets added weekly, hangboard stations, a campus board, free weights, and cardio machines. Members gain access to GP81YTC during public hours and can use the 12x12 Tension Board 2 and 8x12 Decoy Board for training. The facility offers an Intro to Climbing class and hosts a yearly Redpoint competition. Members also enjoy a monthly guest pass to bring friends, participate in a Chess Club that meets every Tuesday at 7 PM, and access to coworking space within the gym. Climbers ages 13 and up can visit, with participants under 18 requiring parental consent. All visitors complete a safety orientation before climbing.
