About Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Brooklyn Botanic Garden features the Classes for Adults program, where visitors watch instructors turn soil with a spade outdoors in the garden. The 52-acre garden in Brooklyn spans multiple specialty areas including the Children's Garden, where families participate in hands-on planting activities, and the Conservatory with its Desert Pavilion and Tropical Pavilion accessed by elevator. Seasonal offerings include the Fall Harvest Festival with live music and lawn games, the Block by Block exhibit, and daily guided Seasonal Highlights Tours. The Garden Apprentice Program provides structured learning for those seeking deeper horticultural education. Visitors explore paved pathways throughout the grounds, with wheelchair access available and accessible restrooms at multiple locations. Children under 12 receive free admission. Pay-what-you-wish admission is available Tuesday through Friday during December, February, and the site listed it through February 28.
