Galveston Children's Museum is an interactive learning space where children explore exhibits and engage in hands-on activities designed around play-based discovery. Visitors climb aboard a kid-sized fishing boat, open a pretend pizza shop, and work in an animal clinic at the Our Town exhibit. The Tinker Workshop invites children to build and invent using real tools and recycled materials in a safe creative environment. Room to Grow offers sensory-rich play for younger explorers, with soft climbing structures and quiet spaces. The museum also hosts STEAM activities, camps, birthday parties, and special events led by certified educators. Field trips and open-ended play experiences encourage children to investigate, create, and develop problem-solving skills through exploration. The museum is located in Galveston, Texas, on the ground floor of the historic Moody Mansion, with its own dedicated entrance and free parking available nearby.
