About Seawolf Park

Seawolf Park on Pelican Island features the USS Cavalla, a WWII submarine, and the USS Stewart, one of only three destroyer escorts, alongside the remains of the S.S. Selma, the largest concrete ship ever constructed. Visitors fish from one of the island's most popular fishing piers, picnic at designated sites, and explore the Galveston Naval Museum. Children under four fish free, while Galveston Island residents ages five through eleven pay reduced fishing admission. A playground accommodates younger visitors. The park offers per-vehicle parking, though paid fishing admission includes parking. Alcohol and leashed pets are permitted throughout the park. Active military with ID receive free admission to the Naval Museum. Located in Galveston, Texas, Seawolf Park combines maritime history with recreational fishing and family activities in a waterfront setting on the Gulf Coast.
