About DuPage Wildlife Conservation Center
The DuPage Wildlife Conservation Center provides medical care and rehabilitation to injured, orphaned, and sick native wild animals, with the goal of returning them to the wild. Most animals in treatment are not on public display as they recover. A small number of non-releasable resident animals remain in permanent care in off-exhibit spaces designed to minimize stress and support their natural behaviors. The visitor center allows guests to learn about the center's work and the animals in its care. The surrounding Willowbrook Forest Preserve offers trails for exploration. Dogs are permitted in the forest preserve on leashes no longer than ten feet but are not allowed inside the center itself. The facility is located in Glen Ellyn and welcomes visitors during designated hours. Those who find injured wildlife can call the center for guidance on whether an animal needs assistance.
