About Phillips Park Zoo

Phillips Park Zoo in Aurora invites visitors to walk through animal exhibits and learn about wildlife and habitats. The zoo provides a safe environment where students and families gain understanding of the animal world through recreation and education. General admission is free. The Stover Visitor Center serves as the main facility, with handicapped parking located near its entrance and additional parking available across from the center. Visitors should observe zoo rules: pets, skateboards, roller blades, scooters and bicycles are not permitted for safety reasons. Balls and balloons are prohibited as they may disturb or harm animals. Feeding zoo animals is strictly forbidden, as they follow specific diets essential to their health. Teasing, antagonizing or petting animals is not allowed, as many can bite and are dangerous. A Kids Zone area provides additional activities for younger visitors exploring the zoo.
