Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site spans 293 acres where visitors explore the location where Texas declared independence from Mexico. The site features Independence Hall, a replica of the building where delegates met to draft the Texas Declaration of Independence, along with the Star of the Republic Museum and Barrington Living History Farm.
