About World’s Largest Pecan

World's Largest Pecan is home to the Pecan Museum of Texas in Seguin, located on a working farm since the 1850s. Visitors tour the Heritage Village, which contains restored historic buildings including a country church, one-room schoolhouse, hand-hewn log cabin from around 1850, vintage filling station, and Texas Ranger station. The site offers guided tours available by reservation for schools, senior groups, church groups, and retreats. Field trips during spring and fall sessions bring students onto the working farm to learn where their food originates. The Big Red Barn itself, a climate-controlled venue on the grounds, hosts the annual pecan festival featuring a pecan bake contest, vendor market, antique tractor pull, hayrides, square dancing, and scarecrow contest. The attraction suits schoolchildren, families, and senior or church groups seeking to experience Texas heritage and understand farming and ranching traditions that shaped America.
