About Star Eco Station

Star Eco Station is an environmental science museum and exotic wildlife rescue facility in Culver City that houses animals confiscated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service or rescued from illegal trafficking. Visitors experience hands-on lessons in ecology through walk-through exhibits featuring exotic birds, reptiles, mammals, and ocean life displayed in a tropical jungle setting. The facility showcases rescued animals including a bobcat named Lulu, an American alligator named Sketch, and sugar gliders. Guided public tours are available on weekends, starting every hour from 10am to 4pm. The station also offers field trips on weekdays, summer camps and childcare services, private tours, and birthday parties in themed spaces like Turtle Island and Galleria del Mundo. Educational programs and assemblies reach students across California school districts. Environmental partnerships with organizations such as the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Surfrider Foundation, and Santa Monica BayKeepers enhance the exhibits and educational content throughout the facility.
