Shaver's Creek Environmental Center in Petersburg offers hands-on exploration of nature through hiking trails, live animal encounters, and educational programs. Visitors see resident bird ambassadors, local amphibians, and reptiles up close while learning about conservation and the natural world. The center hosts guided activities including migration morning bird walks, parent and child nature walks, forest bathing, and guided meditation.
