About Compass Inn Museum

Compass Inn Museum is a restored historic inn in Laughlintown where visitors take docent-led tours of the main house and its outbuildings. Tours last about 50 minutes and include the reconstructed cookhouse, barn, carpenter shop, and blacksmith shop. The museum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was opened in 1972 after restoration by the Ligonier Valley Historical Society. Walk-in visitors are welcome during regular operating hours, and group tours can be scheduled in advance.
