About Fashion Archives & Museum of Shippensburg University
The Fashion Archives & Museum of Shippensburg University preserves and displays historic apparel, operating as both a museum of fashion and an educational laboratory for the study and conservation of historic dress. Visitors explore current exhibits in an airy gallery within the Davis House, where the museum also maintains expanded collections storage, a separate library housing the fashion reference collection, and a meeting area. The facility is fully handicapped-accessible with dedicated parking. Group visits can be scheduled. The museum is open Monday through Thursday from noon to 4 p.m., with Saturday hours during official exhibit dates only. In Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, children under 12 receive free admission, and Shippensburg University students, faculty, and staff enter free with valid identification. Adult admission is $5.
