About Rockhill Trolley Museum

The Rockhill Trolley Museum in Rockhill, Pennsylvania takes visitors back to the era of electric streetcar transportation through restored historic trolleys. Visitors board operational cars including an open trolley, high-speed interurban cars, maintenance-of-way cars, and PCC Cars for leisurely rides through scenic countryside. Each trolley ride lasts 35 to 45 minutes and includes a tour of the carbarn and restoration shops where volunteers work on recovering additional vehicles. The museum operates on a seasonal schedule with multiple departure times daily. The collection demonstrates how generations of Americans once traveled using electric trolleys for inexpensive, convenient transportation. Visitors of all ages hear the authentic sounds of trolley operation—the bell ting, gear growl, and air compressor rhythm. Carbarn and shop tours are included with trolley ride admission. The museum publishes admission prices online, and tickets are sold on its website.
