Raymond M. Alf Museum of Paleontology displays fossil trackways in its Hall of Footprints, one of the world's most scientifically significant track collections. Visitors explore the planet's history from trilobites to dinosaurs in the Hall of Life, following in the tracks of extinct camels and elephants. The museum, located on the campus of The Webb Schools in Claremont, is the only nationally accredited museum in the USA on a high school campus. Webb students conduct original paleontology research on specimens collected during field trips, publishing their findings with museum staff—a program unique to secondary schools. The museum operates Wednesday through Friday from 11 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, with last entry at 4:30 pm. Visitors with state-issued EBT, SNAP, SUN Bucks, or WIC cards receive free admission for the cardholder and three family members at the admission kiosk, as verified at alfmuseum.org.
