About Riverside Art Museum
Riverside Art Museum occupies a 1929 building designed by architect Julia Morgan in downtown Riverside's historic Mission Inn district. Visitors explore rotating exhibitions featuring solo, group, and permanent collection works, with current shows including Chicano Camera Culture: A Photographic History, James McClung & Marcus Mercado: Our Empire, and We The People: Chicano Art in the U.S.A. The adjacent Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture is accessible on a single admission ticket. The museum offers arts education programs and Artists in Residence exhibitions. Children 12 and under receive free admission. Visitors with an Electronic Benefits Transfer, SNAP, or WIC card can enter for $1 per person for up to four people through the Museums for All program. Free admission is available during Riverside Arts Walk on the first Thursday of each month.
