About March Field Air Museum

March Field Air Museum in Riverside showcases more than a century of aviation history across a 30-acre campus. Visitors explore 115 aircraft spanning World War I to the present, including rare warbirds, modern jets, and unmanned aerial vehicles displayed in two main hangars and across outdoor grounds. The museum features the Firebase Romeo Charlie replica, a Vietnam-era forward operating base exhibit with combat vehicles, along with the Frank Zizzo Radio Room and interactive displays about aviator experiences. Self-guided tours allow visitors to walk the expansive campus at their own pace. For a more detailed experience, narrated Tram Tours of the outdoor Flightline depart regularly throughout the day, offering closer views of aircraft on display. The museum welcomes school groups and adult parties, and photography is permitted for personal use. Located just off Interstate 215, the museum requires no military base pass for public admission.
