About Kimberly Crest House & Gardens

Kimberly Crest House & Gardens, built in 1897, is a French Chateau with Italian-style gardens that functions as both a history museum and event venue in Redlands. Visitors stroll through well-manicured lawns, along iconic stairways, and past waterfalls, ponds, fountains, and gardens representing Gilded Age Southern California. The estate grounds are open to the public at no charge Monday through Friday and Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Docent-guided home tours lasting 45 minutes explore the first and second stories while sharing historical details and stories of former residents, available Thursday, Friday, and Sunday afternoons. Docent-led garden tours offered on the second Sundays of each month provide 60-minute experiences spotlighting Italian Renaissance-style garden architecture and plant life. The site is located two miles south of historic downtown Redlands. Through the Museums for All Program, holders of a valid SNAP EBT card and matching identification receive free admission for up to four guests, as verified at kimberlycrest.org.
