Mission San Juan Capistrano is a historic landmark, museum, chapel and gardens that welcomes over 350,000 visitors annually. Guests tour the site's museum spaces, Serra Chapel and grounds, viewing exhibits such as the Etchings of Henry Chapman Ford. The Mission hosts lectures, bell ringings and artifact displays as part of its 250th anniversary celebration. Capistrano Lights features a digital projection light show with immersive storytelling and awe-inspiring visuals depicting 250 years of mission history. The grounds include a picnic seating area within the gardens, complimentary Wi-Fi in the Central Courtyard and first-aid services at Guest Services. School groups book field trips to the Mission, which is ranked as a number one field trip destination. Located in San Juan Capistrano, the site offers a Fourth Grader Package that includes youth student admission, an audio tour, a commemorative bracelet and a Mission resource book for $18, saving five dollars.
