California Citrus State Historic Park preserves groves of citrus trees and historic buildings where visitors walk among the trees, explore interpretive exhibits, and join guided citrus grove tours that explain how the industry shaped California's economy and culture. The visitor center and gift shop operate Friday through Sunday, with extended weekend hours during summer months. Dogs are welcome on the trails, though not in the visitor center. The park charges admission by vehicle, with published prices available online. Visitors in the Arlington Heights area of Riverside, one mile east of the 91 Freeway, can explore at their own pace during park hours that vary seasonally. Disabled visitors receive half-price day use admission with a Disabled Discount Pass, bringing the cost to $3.50 rather than the standard rate, according to parks.ca.gov.
