About Witte Museum

The Witte Museum features galleries where nature, science, and culture intersect. The Naylor Family Dinosaur Gallery transports visitors millions of years into the past to explore animals from the Cretaceous Period more than 110 million years ago. The McLean Family Wild Gallery immerses visitors in dramatic environments, showcasing more than 150 animals in their natural habitats. The museum presents exhibitions such as Pterosaurs: Flight in the Age of Dinosaurs, which explores the flying reptiles that dominated the skies for more than 150 million years. Visitors can participate in Rock Art Tours and attend special events including STEAM Sunday programs that blend science, technology, engineering, art, and math. The museum offers interactive experiences across multiple galleries dedicated to regional history and natural science. Children under twelve must be accompanied by an adult. Complimentary wheelchairs are available upon request at the admissions desk.
