About RailGiants Train Museum
RailGiants Train Museum at the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds in Pomona preserves Southern California's railroad heritage through a collection of well-preserved locomotives and rolling stock. Visitors explore two of only four surviving 3-Cylinder steam locomotives: SP #5021 and UP #9000. The museum also houses a Union Pacific "Centennial" diesel locomotive, the largest of its kind, along with freight and passenger cars, a historic Arcadia Depot, and a library archive. The RailGiants Store, located inside the Arcadia Depot, offers railroad souvenirs including custom t-shirts, hats, books, DVDs, and train toys for various ages. The museum is open to the public during designated weekend hours. A Union Pacific caboose was added to the collection in 2020. The setting suits visitors interested in railroad history and vintage transportation equipment.
