Rancho Los Cerritos is a living history museum in Long Beach where visitors explore California's past through an adobe home, gardens, and collections of artifacts. Guests take self-guided tours of the property or join docent-led tours to learn about the Tongva people, early Spanish settlers, and American pioneers who shaped the region. The museum presents rotating exhibitions, including the Seeds of Resilience: Barrio Americano Exhibition, alongside cultural workshops and seasonal celebrations. The grounds feature the historic adobe structure and outdoor spaces accessible to all visitors. The Visitor Center provides information about the various ways to discover the site's history. Service animals trained to perform tasks for persons with disabilities are permitted on the property. Rancho Los Cerritos operates Wednesday through Sunday in the Bixby Knolls neighborhood of Long Beach, with a main parking lot located across from the entry gates.
