The Philippine Folklife Museum Foundation operates a gallery dedicated to Philippine culture and history, located in San Francisco, California. Visitors explore multiple themed galleries featuring exhibits on significant aspects of Filipino heritage. The SPOLIARIUM gallery displays a replica of the renowned painting by Juan Luna. The Jose Rizal Manga Kiosk Gallery presents the life of the revolutionary figure and national hero who influenced Philippine independence through his writings. The Andres Bonifacio Gallery highlights the founder of the Katipunan, the secret society that organized the uprising against Spanish colonial rule. The History and Origin of Piña gallery showcases the traditional Philippine fabric through photographs and a private collection of three embroidered gowns from circa 1936 that belonged to the late Mrs. Aurora Quezon. The Highlights of Philippine History gallery features fourteen wooden bas relief panels carved by Filipino artist Luis Ac-ac, depicting Philippine history from early inhabitants through major historical events.
We check this attraction’s own website for offers. The last time we read philippinefolklifemuseum.org, on , there was no offer on it that we could verify.
The page stays here because the attraction is still worth knowing about, and because we keep checking. If a deal appears on their site, it appears here.
