Benchmark Climbing, San Francisco

About Benchmark Climbing

Benchmark Climbing is an indoor bouldering gym in San Francisco, California where visitors scale 8-16 foot walls over foam crash pads. Climbers tackle bouldering problems that require creative problem solving, physical strength, balance, and technique. The gym features a variety of climbing walls and routes designed for different skill levels. Visitors can participate in climbing classes, youth programs, group events, and private coaching, or use the strength training equipment. Members work toward personal benchmarks and develop their own climbing style in a thoughtfully designed space built for community connection. Children are welcome at the facility. First-time visitors need a valid government-issued photo ID and must complete a waiver before climbing. A 10-day pass package costs $270, saving 10% off the regular $300 price, and passes are valid for one year and shareable with friends. Membership options are available to suit different climbing commitments.
