Owlchemy Play Lab is a STEAM-based indoor play space for children ages 3 and up in Redondo Beach, California. Visitors engage in hands-on exploration across 1,600 square feet of thoughtfully designed play zones. The facility features building stations where children invent with cardboard and magnetic materials, sensory and science activity stations for exploring and discovering, and open-ended maker activities. Each visit includes a customizable craft to take home. Kids can experiment with switches and lights, design mazes from cardboard, construct towering structures, dig and pour in sensory play areas, or engage in imaginative role-play like running a pretend store. The environment is intentionally calm and never overwhelming, with limited capacity during each session to maintain comfort and safety. Adults must wear socks and stay on-site during visits; children must wear socks with grips. Reservations are strongly encouraged, and visit lengths of one or two hours are available when booking online through the venue's website.
