South Play is an indoor play venue in Redondo Beach designed for children to explore a carefully curated space while parents relax nearby. The facility spans over three thousand square feet of air-conditioned indoor space plus a landscaped courtyard with outdoor seating. The main play area features a large ball pit with straight and curly slides and a rope tunnel, a giant bounce house, an electronic game floor, a magnetic wall, a doll house, and a play house. Children can also use ride toys, bounce toys, and push-pull toys, with capes and costume wings available. The play space includes comfortable cushioned bench seating with pillows positioned for optimal viewing from all angles. The main salon offers snacks, beverages, and coloring activities with pencils, stencils, crayons, and coloring books, plus complimentary wifi. Two bathrooms with changing tables serve the facility. Most families spend approximately two hours at South Play, though stays of any length are welcome.
