About Northern Star Farm

Northern Star Farm is a preserved working farm in Trappe, Pennsylvania, owned by the Wismer family since 1927. Visitors pick their own sunflowers in the fields, navigate a corn maze, and attend the farm's Fall Festival. The farm also hosts photo opportunities with Santa and Dominick the Donkey. The 230-acre property has deep local roots, sitting on land that once belonged to early Trappe families including the Dewees family, who operated a popular tavern and inn there in the 1800s. The current farmhouse dates to 1895. The farm's stone structures and surrounding acreage reflect centuries of agricultural and community history in the area.
