Milky Way Farm is a working dairy farm spanning 103 acres in Chester Springs where visitors pick their own pumpkins in the fields, ride hay wagons, and walk mazes. The farm, operated by the Matthews family since 1902, also features Chester Springs Creamery, which produces ice cream made from the farm's own milk. The property includes historic fieldstone buildings constructed between the 1790s and 1820s, including a bank barn built into a hillside. Visitors can purchase fresh farm brown eggs, grass-fed and hormone-free products, and local honey. The farm hosts school tours focused on dairy farming and sustainability, summer camps, and birthday parties. Educational programs and hands-on learning experiences about agriculture are available by reservation.
