About Fox Chase Farm

Fox Chase Farm is a working educational demonstration farm operated by the School District of Philadelphia where visitors explore agriculture, sustainability, and hands-on learning across more than 112 acres. The farm welcomes students, families, and community members to visit farm animals, explore gardens, and attend seasonal programs and community events. Visitors can browse the Fox Chase Farm Market for rotating selections of fresh produce and locally sourced goods that change throughout the season. The farm hosts large-scale events such as Ag Innovation Day, featuring hands-on activities, agricultural equipment demonstrations, a local farm market with artisan vendors, and food. Educational programming serves more than 62,000 students annually from Pre-K through 12th grade through field trips and school-based initiatives including the Agriculture Empowerment Program. The property has been actively cultivated for over two centuries, with historic structures including barns and stone buildings remaining from earlier periods of stewardship.
