About Long Island Whale and Seal Watching
Long Island Whale and Seal Watching operates ocean cruises from Freeport, New York, aboard the Atlantic Pearl. Visitors board the vessel to observe whales, dolphins, and seals in their natural habitat off the Long Island coast. Seal watching cruises run during winter and spring months and last two hours, while whale watching cruises operate during summer and fall months for four hours. A naturalist travels on board to discuss the biology and behavior of the marine animals encountered. The Atlantic Pearl features a snack bar offering hot dogs, chips, water, soda, and cocktails for purchase. Passengers can watch from the boat's deck as pods of whales breach and seals surface in the Atlantic Ocean. Tickets are sold online through the venue's website.
