About Lick Observatory

Lick Observatory sits atop Mt. Hamilton in California and welcomes visitors to the Shane Telescope Visitor Center and East Grounds. Admission is free. The venue says: “Admission is free, and tours of inside the dome of the 36-inch Great Refractor are given every hour on the half hour by the Gift Shop.
