Julian Tea & Cottage Arts serves traditional four-course tea service and lunch in Julian, California. The flagship offering is the Cottage Classic tea, which includes soup, a mini cheese scone, six finger sandwiches and savories, a scone with lemon curd and jam, dessert, and unlimited pots of tea. The venue also offers themed teas, such as Apple Time Teas featuring Hungarian apple soup and apple-themed finger sandwiches. Children's tea is available for younger guests, and vegetarian and gluten-free versions of menu items can be prepared with advance notice. The teashop stocks bone china, porcelain, ceramic, cast iron, stainless steel, and glass teapots alongside tea accessories. A large selection of both bagged and loose teas are available for purchase, along with tea-related books, cookbooks for entertaining, greeting cards, and stationery items. Seating times occur throughout the day, with preorder reservations required for all visits.
