Classic Rotors is a non-profit museum in Ramona, California, dedicated to preserving rare and vintage rotorcraft. Founded in 1992, the museum houses over 45 helicopters and maintains several in flying condition, including the Vertol H21B tandem rotor and Kamov Ka26 co-axial rotor helicopters. Visitors can view unique aircraft such as the MonteCopter model 15 tri-phibian, the four-place Jovair YH30 tandem rotor, the Sikorsky H03S Korean War rescue helicopter, and the ram-jet powered Hiller Hornet. The museum demonstrates various rotor technology designs including tandem, co-axial, conventional single-rotor, sync intermeshing, and tip-powered systems. The collection includes aircraft undergoing restoration, such as the Sikorsky H19 and Hiller UH12. As one of only four dedicated rotorcraft museums worldwide, Classic Rotors honors the pioneers of vertical flight technology. The museum also participates in more than a dozen air shows annually.
We check this attraction’s own website for offers. The last time we read rotors.org, on , there was no offer on it that we could verify.
The page stays here because the attraction is still worth knowing about, and because we keep checking. If a deal appears on their site, it appears here.
