About Hinsdale Community Pool

Hinsdale Community Pool is a public swimming facility in Hinsdale where visitors swim laps, relax in the sun, or spend time with family and friends. The pool features a waterslide that guests must be 42 inches tall to ride. A baby pool provides a separate area for younger swimmers, though it is closed for renovations during the 2026 season while the main pool remains open. The facility employs a lifeguard team trained to the highest safety standards, with staff earning five-star ratings from StarGuard during unannounced audits in 2024 and 2025. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied and actively supervised by a guest 16 years or older. Non-swimmers and those wearing Coast Guard certified life jackets require a chaperone 18 years or older within arm's reach at all times. Visitors may bring water bottles but no outside food, beverages, or coolers into the facility. Tickets are sold online through the village's website. The pool has a 50 meter pool, diving pool with slide and diving boards, wading pool with zero depth walk-in and water play features, sunbathing area, bathhouse with locker rooms, and concession area. Lock your belongings. The Village is not responsible for loss or theft of personal items.
