About Glenview History Center
The Glenview History Center preserves and interprets the history of Glenview, Illinois, incorporated in 1899. Visitors explore a restored 1864 farmhouse museum displaying artifacts, photographs, maps and art related to local families, businesses and civic organizations. The center also operates the Hibbard Library, a Victorian coach house opened in 1982 that houses rare books, documents, photographs, maps, census records and newspapers focused on Glenview history.
