About Galveston Historic Harbor Tours
Galveston Historic Harbor Tours offers narrated boat tours departing from Pier 21 in Galveston's historic waterfront district. Visitors board a comfortable vessel with seating in both sun and shade to view iconic ships and landmarks while spotting dolphins in the harbor. The tour showcases the Battleship USS Texas, a dreadnought battleship launched in 1912, along with the USS Stewart, a Clemson-class destroyer from World War II, and the USS Cavalla, a Gato-class submarine. The harbor occasionally hosts visiting historical replicas such as El Galeon, a 16th-century Spanish ship, and tall ships. Tours welcome well-behaved, leashed pets aboard. The main deck is wheelchair accessible. Visitors should arrive at least thirty minutes before their scheduled departure time.
