The Commemorative Air Force DFW Wing operates a hangar museum at Lancaster Municipal Airport where visitors explore historic, rare aircraft that served during World War II. The Douglas R4D "Ready 4 Duty" and Vultee BT-15 "Little Noodle" are among the vintage planes on display that tell the story of the Greatest Generation's sacrifice and dedication.
