The museum features historical memorabilia that illustrates the hardships, challenges, and triumphs of county founders. Special events include programs like Quanah Parker Day, which recognizes leaders of the Comanche Nation and features guest speakers discussing regional history. The museum also displays original artwork by local artists. School groups, families, and other visitors can arrange tours by appointment beyond regular hours. The museum operates Thursday through Saturday and welcomes contributions of historical artifacts and donations to support its operations.
