Bakewicz Farms is a family-run farm in Wading River offering a farmstand, playground, barnyard, and beverage bar. The farmstand stocks locally grown vegetables and fruits alongside homemade jams, fresh-baked goods including apple cider donuts, cake loaves, and pies. The fully fenced playground features wooden ships, trucks, and trains, a converted farm truck with hillbilly hoops, cornhole, checkers, tic tac toe, a 70-foot jump pad, and a six-hole mini golf course. The barnyard houses over 75 animals including five horses, three ponies, five cows, six pigs, seventeen goats, rabbits, ducks, and seventy-five chickens, each with names and personalities. Visitors can purchase animal feed to interact with the animals. The Silo bar serves beer, wine, and cider with live music. The farm grows twenty acres of produce across two locations, including tomatoes, peppers, corn, squash, berries, and apples available for picking. The venue operates daily and charges admission covering both playground and barnyard access.
