About Stakey's Pumpkin Farm
Stakey's Pumpkin Farm is a family-owned operation in Aquebogue where visitors pick pumpkins directly from the vine across 26 acres planted with 18 varieties. The farm, run by third-generation farmer Jim Stakey, also grows hardy garden mums, flowering cabbage and kale, fresh cut cornstalks, and straw bales available in its flower house. Attractions include hay rides, a corn maze, and face, arm and hand painting. The country store offers roasted corn, a snack shack, and a café called Love at First Bite. Certain activities operate on weekends and holidays only, while pumpkin picking and hay rides run throughout the season. The farm sits on the East End of Long Island and operates seasonally, with hours and activity availability varying by day. Families visit to select pumpkins, navigate the maze, and experience an authentic working North Fork farm.
