About Milk Pail U-Pick Farm

Milk Pail U-Pick Farm is a pick-your-own orchard and farm in Water Mill, New York, where visitors harvest fresh produce directly from the fields. The farm grows numerous apple varieties with distinct flavor profiles and seasonal availability, including Empire, Fuji, Gala, Honeycrisp, Jonagold, Jonamac, Mutsu, and SnapDragon apples ranging from tart to sweet-tart, suitable for eating or baking. Pumpkins and squash varieties available for picking include Acorn, Baby Boo, Big Max, Blue Hubbard, Buttercup, Butternut, Cheese, Cinderella, Delicata, and Fairytale. Sunflowers are also available for picking. Visitors can order fresh cookies and muffins ahead through the farm's website. No reservations are required to visit. The farm publishes admission prices online. Guests should stay in open areas where fruit is ready for harvest and avoid roped-off sections where produce is still ripening.
