About Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage

Andrew Jackson's Hermitage in Nashville offers visitors exploration of the home and estate of the 7th President across more than 1,120 acres of historic grounds, gardens, exhibits, and trails. The beautifully preserved Hermitage Mansion itself is open for tours. Guests can walk the grounds at their own pace, visit Jackson's Tomb, and view the Path of Glory. The property features the Enslaved Cemetery with an original grave marker and the "In Their Footsteps" guided walking tour, which covers approximately one mile and includes a wreath-laying ceremony. Educational programs include Hands-On History activities featuring a sand table for children. The "Born For a Storm" exhibit explores Andrew Jackson's life and military history. Ghost Tours operate seasonally. Visitors can access the mansion, gardens, and grounds through general admission or book a VIP Tour for a 90-minute guided experience with skip-the-line access.
