Breeden's Orchard is a family-run farm in Mt. Juliet that has operated since 1974, offering visitors activities centered on orchard life and seasonal produce. General admission is free. The Activity Yard features family-friendly interactive games and a petting zoo. Visitors can pick their own peaches during limited summer dates, harvesting ripe fruit from lower branches while farmers handle the higher fruit. The orchard's cidery demonstrates how fresh-picked apples become cider, which visitors can purchase along with cider donuts and farm-to-table food. The site hosts special events including Writers' Rounds featuring local Nashville songwriters, professional music showcases at an open-air amphitheater, and seasonal smokeouts with barbecue. Field trips include observation hives and an exhibition garden. The orchard partners with local farms to provide apples for fall festivities including slushies, pumpkins, and Apple Fest.
