Wild Ocean Safari operates whale watching and marine wildlife tours from San Diego aboard offshore powerboats. Visitors board luxurious vessels to search for whales, dolphins, sea lions, pelicans and gulls along the San Diego coastline and open Pacific waters. The Morning Safari departs at 10:30 a.m. for a 2.5-hour offshore adventure in search of marine wildlife. The Ocean Safari runs a 2.5-hour journey along the coastline from Mission Bay to La Jolla Cove, passing Ocean Beach, Mission Beach and Pacific Beach. The Sunset Safari offers a 2.5-hour evening excursion across open seas at sunset. Private Safari tours accommodate up to six passengers and run 2.5 hours or longer, customizable to visit either Mission Bay's protected waters or the open ocean.
