About Fleet Science Center
Fleet Science Center in San Diego invites visitors to explore interactive exhibits and demonstrations within its galleries. The center features an IMAX Giant Dome Theater showing films, and offers field trips for school groups. Adults can join dedicated programs, while kids and scientists have their own engaging offerings. The center provides activities and resources for visitors of all ages to learn through hands-on exploration. San Diego County residents, local students, and active-duty military receive free admission to exhibit galleries on the first Tuesday of each month by showing valid identification. Families with Electronic Benefit Transfer or SNAP cards can gain $5 gallery-only admission for up to four people. Active-duty military service members and their families receive a 10% discount on admission daily, and discount vouchers for 20% off admission are available at Military Welfare and Recreation ticket offices. In October, one child ages 3–12 receives free admission with each paid adult ticket. Details on all offers are available at fleetscience.org.
