Ice House Museum at Hotel del Coronado occupies an 1889 building on the hotel grounds in Coronado, California, where visitors explore artifacts and memorabilia documenting the resort's history since its opening. The museum features a Marilyn Monroe selfie spot and serves as the starting point for multiple guided tours. The Legendary Tour is a 90-minute docent-led walking tour through the Victorian building and gardens, including exclusive behind-the-scenes areas. The Haunted Happenings Tour, offered nightly, recounts the documented 1892 visit of Kate Morgan and explores the resort's paranormal history through a guided walking experience. Fall Specialty Ghost Tours include a Victorian séance and visits to Kate Morgan's guest room. Self-guided audio tours lasting about 60 minutes draw from letters, records and oral histories of previous guests and staff, with audio reenactments played as visitors explore the property. Private group tours are available for groups of 20 or more. The museum is located on Wagers Row, the historic row of buildings along the main drive.
Hours: Daily 10am-5pm
